The Grapevine Team would like to officially announce the L.A.F.A. Awards (full meaning The Locally Acquired Foreign Accent Awards).
These awards are informal nominations by The Grapevine Team and of course all our listemers on Smooth FM to help us identify Personalities who we think/know/assume have home grown American/Canadian/British/Scottish/etc accents without justifiable reasons for these accents.
The most popular culprits are the Radio On Air Personalities (OAP) but we won't stop here - there are many deserving awardees in the Movie, Music and, of course, TV categories. Not to forget Pastors, Public speakers and even politicians.
We will fish you out and give you our honorary awards.
