Ja Rule was released from prison yesterday after having served over 2 years of his back to back term for different convictions of illegal gun possession and tax evasion.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons says the release date for the platinum selling rapper (real name Jeffrey Atkins) is still July 28th but he'll possibly have community based supervision for the balance of the term.
